I already posted my study method. I did use CBT Nugget SND, SNRS and ISCW. I used P4S SND and some of P4S screen shot of 553 exam to check my knowledge. There were 5-7 questions which were bit confusing for me. Maybe that’s why I got 878.

Lots of encryption protocols and their function question. Router Security, Attack methods, IPS, ACLs and SDM question. Must play with SDM before going to exam and understand ACL in GUI.
Its not very hard exam but if you don’t know the topics then you can easily fail in this exam. Lab is simple but you can’t do lab and Simlets properly then you gonna fail.
Make table of IP Subnetting if you want but not really necessary. It’s good to have it before exam start.

Questions & Time : 60 & 120 Min
My Score was : 8++ ( I don’t want to be caught by Cisco people….. as They know my score)
About the Exam Questions…..
Drag & Drop Questions : 8 ( Most of them can be found in ISCW & SND papers )
Simulation Question : 1 for Layer 2 Attack ( Just stuck here for 28min)
Firewall & IPS Questions : 8-10 Most of them are Zone based firewall ( Which i not prepared well)
SDM Questions : 3 ( Testlets ) you won’t find any where..
VPN Questions : 5-8 Most of them are commands and IPsec based
I was just appeared in hoping that most of the questions will appear from firewall and SDM, but my assumption was wrong.. this exam covers all the areas so my advice is to go through all the topics from Cisco press CCNA Security official book.
Regarding Exam Preparation Tips from my end:
1. Try to finish the Cisco press Book and if possible twise.
2. Use always Cisco Press Book for your Reference ( Of course the above same book)
3. Try to work on SDM for configuring the following Topics.
a. Locking down Router (two Questions)
b. Configuring the Firewall and IPS Signatures settings (important topics)
c. VPN Configuration ( Both site-to-site and Easy VPN ) ( Two questions from this topic)
d. Additional Tasks section
e. SDM Dash Board analyzing and Monitoring Options.
4. Once you finished Theory and Lab Practice… it’s time to test yourself.. So use the DoIknow Questions Series. Of course you can use Dumps (SND and ISCW )
5. Regarding Training Videos… No one released yet.. i used to watch selected Videos from SND, SNRS, ISCW… and Cisco Site Videos (IPS and Firewall Videos)
6. Most important thing for Exam preparation is the Time.. Take at least 2Months for full preparation…..
