We have been trying to get Larry Shultz to cover all of his traditional rigging techniques for over a year now. With the LightWave 3D 9 coming out Larry wanted to wait to see what new tools Newtek would add or change in LightWave 3D 9.
Larry has been hired by professional studios such as Warner Brothers, and Foundation Imaging (Ron Thorton) to create easily animatable characters using rigs exactly like the training on this DVD.
Finally someone demystifies the process and shows you the do's and don'ts and most importantly why! Most users have read online about the rigging process, now finally there is some formal training available to LightWave 3D users.
In this video Larry not only shows you tricks to speed up the rigging process by using a proxy rig but he also covers every aspect of the 12 fundamentals of rigging.

Photoshop has a wide array of tools that make it an excellent tool for texturing. And though Photoshop is the choice for this task most everywhere, many people are in the dark about its expansive abilities as texturing tool.
This video marries the abilities of Photoshop as a powerhouse digital editor and the industry requirements of video game / CG Texturing. This video is, from start to finish, how to create a finalized CG or game texture from: planning to creation to exporting for 3D / video game use. This video features I wide set of Photoshop tools. This video is a project based training video showing you how to create the cover image, Oranguman. Oranguman is Wayne's character imagining if the Orangutan species evolved into a human type species.

This video starts off showing you some tips on modeling and some time saving interface customizations. Wayne then moved on into the modeling sections where he goes from a basic ZSphere character to showing you how to create fine details included details in HD.

Wayne then shows you how to texture the character in three separate detailed sections.
