Video 2 - “Work Area Fundamentals” - There’s no doubt about it. PowerPoint 2007 looks entirely different than it used to. There’s the Office Ribbon, Quick Access Toolbar, and your favorite commands aren’t where they used to be. This nugget will help get you comfortable with the new look and feel of PowerPoint 2007.

Video 3 - “Creating Presentations” - The worst feeling in the world is looking at a blank PowerPoint presentation and wondering how to begin. In this nugget, we’ll take a look at how to use Templates, Designs, and even the good old blank presentation to get started on that PowerPoint presentation you’re working on.

Video 4 - “Creating and Editing Text” - Unlike Word or other Word Processors, PowerPoint uses Text Boxes to add text to the presentation. Knowing how to place and edit text is one very key feature of PowerPoint 2007.

Video 5 - “Automatic Features and Language Support” - Checking your spelling can save you a lot of embarrassment when you are doing a presentation in front of your peers or potential clients. Using the AutoFeatures like Spellcheck and Grammar can help you out. Plus, if you’re doing a presentation in a language other than English, this nugget can give you some tips on how to prepare!

Video 6 - “Adding Content - Tables and Charts” - 8 out 10 PowerPoint presentations involve business. This means that 8 out of 10 presentations will need to present sales numbers, figures, growth and gantt charts. PowerPoint 2007 has you covered. Learn how to link data and create your own charts and tables if necessary.

Video 7 - “.Adding Content” - Clip Art and Photos - PowerPoint is a VISUAL medium. It makes sense that you’ll be using more than text and colors to present your ideas to the audience. ClipArt and Photos are very powerful means to that end.

Video 8 - “Adding Content” - Shapes and SmartArt - As PowerPoint continues to be improved upon, so do the tools that come with it. Not only do you have the basic shapes and the WordArt from previous versions, now you have SMARTART which allows you to create diagrams with 3D modeling and other features. Get set to wow your audiences with these tools!

Video 9 - “Adding Content” - Media and Linked Objects - Have you ever wondered how your peers added sounds and video clips to their presentations? This nugget is for you. Learn the ins and outs of adding media as well as how to link data from objects to your presentation. Update the data…update the chart on PowerPoint. That’s using the power of PowerPoint!

Video 10 - “Exporting and Publishing” - Not everyone has Office 2007, so that means not everyone has PowerPoint on their computers. But never fear, because PowerPoint 2007 allows you to package a PowerPoint Viewer along with your presentation that can be played on any PC! Save those PPT’s in different ways and methods to allow more access.

Video 11 - “Formatting Content” - Themes - As you continue in your journey through PowerPoint there are so many different things you can tweak and change: colors, fonts, paragraph settings, bullets, etc. How do you keep it all coherent? Using Themes. Not only are there pre-built themes in PowerPoint 2007, you can access hundreds of these themes on Office online.

Video 12 - “Formatting Content” - Graphics and Shapes - Would you like to add shading and color to your graphics? How about using arrows and Smartart to really make that presentation jump off the screen? Here are some tips and tricks on how to bring the static graphical shapes to life.

Video 13 - “Formatting Content” - Backgrounds - The canvas you paint on in PowerPoint doesn’t need to be a white background. Instead make it come alive with photos, textures, colors, gradients, fills, and art. Here’s the nugget for all you creative types who want to impress everyone with your artistic background skills.

Video 14 - “Formatting Content” - Animations and Transitions - Motion on the screen can really enhance your presentations. You can literally make little movies by animating the items on the screen with some great effects like zooms, fades, twirls, and more. Plus, as you move from slide to slide you can add transitions that help keep your audiences attention.

Video 15 - “Formatting” - Master Slides and Layouts - The architecture behind every good PowerPoint presentation are Master Slides and the associated layouts. You can create uniformity throughout your presentation and save yourself a lot of heartache and anguish by using Master Slides. Make your titles the same distance from the top. Have your title fonts remain the same. There are so many things that a Master Slide can do to help you remain consistent throughout your presentation.

Video 16 - “Setup and Delivery” - Your presentation is done, now it’s time to prepare it for delivery. What screen size will you use? How much time should you spend on each slide? Will you print out notes? How about rehearsing the timers? Anyone for some narration? Check out this nugget before you make your next presentation to get the full scoop on setup.

Video 17 - “Powerful PowerPoint Presentations” - LIVE - After years of delivering presentations, I’ve found some basics that will insure a great presentation. Using the 4 C’s (Construction, Color, Content, Clarity) you can build a great LIVE presentation for your peers, your clients, even those hard to please bosses.

Video 18 - “Powerful PowerPoint Presentations” - Recorded - Sometimes you can’t be there for the presentation, so recording it and packaging it for self-play is the way to go. There are a few differences from a LIVE presentation and we’ll show you how PowerPoint 2007 can be the solution for pre-recorded presentations with a radical twist.
